Lyons Park and Dane Street Beach are located just a short distance from downtown Beverly on Lothrop Street. Many people run, walk, and sit enjoying the view, with Independence Park on one side and Lynch Park not too far on the other. There is a beautiful grassy park and a field with benches that look out over the sandy beach and rocky shore. The view is out over Mackerel Cove and Beverly Harbor with the Beverly Cove neighborhood bordering and the city of Salem on the other side. There is parking on the street and a small car lot.
