The Coolidge Reservation is a Trustees of Reservations property located on a peninsula called Coolidge Point in Manchester Massachusetts. It borders Gloucester to the North. Here you can enjoy a 66 acre preserve with a diverse landscape that includes a pond, wetlands, woodlands, a sandy beach. Gray Beach is also called Magnolia Beach, and there is also spectacular ocean lawn edged with rocky outcroppings.

Hamilton – Wenham Public Library

Opened in 2001, the library is located in a downtown residential neighborhood, at the site of what was once the Hamilton Wenham Regional High School. The old building was dismantled and this well-designed community space was erected in it’s place. The former high school gym segment of the building was retained and incorporated into the design of the new library building and currently houses the Hamilton Wenham Recreation Department. Obear Park is a fabulous waterfront park located on the Danvers River in the Ryal Side neighborhood of Beverly. Not very well known, but well known in Ryal side. Hospital Point Lighthouse – Beverly Cove – Beverly MA

Located at the end of Bayview Avenue in the Cove neighborhood of Beverly, MA.  It was built in 1871 and is now listed on the National Register of Historic Places. It gets it’s name from a smallpox hospital that was in this location and burned in 1849. Read about the history of the Hospital Point Lighthouse Lighthouse.

The view at the end of Bayview Avenue is a spectacular one. Looking out towards Lynch Park and Salem Harbor.

It is a Trustees of the Reservations property and continues to be one of the oldest operating farms in the country. This fabulous water front park is located in the Beverly Cove neighborhood in Beverly. It is a historic 16 acre park managed by Beverly Recreation Department. It has much to offer and is a frequently used and cherished asset for Beverly and the North Shore. Beverly residents can get a sticker and park for free during the summer season but is open for others to use as well for a fee.

There is a beautiful rose garden, two beaches, playground, band shell, carriage house and beautiful grounds. There are plenty of benches to sit and enjoy the spectacular ocean views. Many events and functions take place in the park.

Lynch park has been a Beverly public park since 1943. You can read the interesting history from the Beverly Recreation Department. See the slideshow below for photos of the park.
